Mint Tea

This simple and wonderful Mint Tea recepie we learned from your aunt Nobuko on one of her summer visits from Tokyo.

In a summer we get an abundance of mint growing around the house. With just a few leaves you can brew a whole pot.

Mint Tea Brewing Steps: Bring water to a boil. Add the boiled water and a few mint leaves (7 to 8 leaves ) to a tea pot. Leave to brew for about 2 minutes. If making an individual cup, reduce amount of leaves to use. Add the mint leaves and hot water directly to your favorite mug.

This tea is great hot or cold. For cold tea just add ice. Your mint leaves can be re used for additional cups. If you want a stronger flavor just add more leaves.
